Delete Your Account
You can delete your GoLetsGo account and its data two ways — from inside the app (fastest), or from here if you no longer have the app installed.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open GoLetsGo and sign in to your account.
- Go to your profile (tap your avatar / "Edit profile").
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, below Sign out.
- Confirm. That's it — no waiting for a reply.
Option 2 — Request by email (no app installed)
Email us from the address linked to your account (or tell us your username) and ask us to delete your account:

What happens when you delete your account
Either way, the same process applies:
- Right away: your account is frozen (you're signed out, and no one can find or contact you), your avatar and gallery photos are permanently deleted, and any meetups you were hosting or had joined are cancelled — the other people involved are notified automatically.
- For the next 30 days: the account stays frozen but recoverable — if you sign back in during this window, deletion is cancelled and your account is restored, except your avatar and gallery photos, which were deleted right away.
- After 30 days: your account, profile, friends list, and remaining data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Paid subscriptions: when you delete your account, an active subscription is automatically set to end at the close of the current billing period — it stays active until then and will not renew. If you restore your account within the 30-day recovery period, the subscription continues as before — unless its renewal date was less than 3 days away while the account was waiting for deletion: in that case we turn off the renewal so you aren't charged, and you can subscribe again at any time. One exception: messages you've sent in chat are not deleted, since a conversation also belongs to the other person in it — the same way a text message you sent someone doesn't disappear from their phone if you delete your number. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
Inactive accounts: a guest account or an account with an unconfirmed email is deleted automatically after 30 days without use; a confirmed account (verified email or Google) is deleted after one year without use, with a reminder notification 7 days before if notifications are on. Opening the app resets the period.
